Volunteer Day

National Mall
More lives are lost to lung cancer than colorectal and pancreatic cancers combined, claiming more than 120,000 lives every year – but we are making progress with early detection and research advances. This November, Lung Cancer Awareness Month, LUNGevity is planting 60,000 flags on the National Mall, with each flag representing 2 lives lost to lung cancer. This installation will serve as a powerful reminder of the urgency of the action needed for awareness, research, and advocacy so that we do not lose momentum.  We appreciate your help in placing some of these flags.
